Guille and Debbie Mac Kenzie were born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After Guille finished his theological studies in Argentina and became ordained as a pastor with the St. Andrews Presbytery in 2003, they spent one year as a missionary, three years as an Associate Pastor and three more years as a Senior Pastor in a suburban area of Buenos Aires.
In December 2008, they moved to the St. Louis, MO, to pursue further theological education at Covenant Theological Seminary. Guille will be completing his Master of Theology degree next May.
Upon return to Argentina next June, the Lord has called them to start a new church plant in a neighborhood called Palermo, in downtown Buenos Aires. He will also continue to be involved in the theological education program at the presbytery level.
The Lord has blessed Guille and Debbie with two beautiful daughters: Camila (3) and Catalina (1).
Prayer requests:
- Pray for wisdom and patience for Guille to complete his studies.
- Pray for the family while we all get ready for the transition back home.
- Pray for Palermo, that the Lord would be preparing the soil for us to sow.
