We are Asafe and Sara Cristino Moura. We are from Brazil, and we're the parents of three children.

We are being called to Porto, Portugal, to help plant a church and to begin a hospitality ministry for college students with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). Asafe grew up in Brazil's capital, Brasilia, and he became a believer in 2016 right before college. He felt the call to full-time ministry after being part of an amazing local church in his hometown, serving in college ministry, and living in Portugal in 2018. Asafe's experience in Portugal helped fuel his call, as he saw the power of hospitality ministry amid the deep need for the Gospel in Europe.

Sara grew up in a Christian home in the northern part of Brazil. She moved to Brasilia in her early teens, and she later began teaching Portuguese in high school. Her faith in Jesus has never waivered, but it was during college that she grew in the understanding of her salvation and of the Lordship of Christ in her life. To her, taking care of those in need and making deep friendships is a call and a responsibility.

We were married four years ago, right before coming to the U.S. for training at Covenant Theological Seminary. We are excited to be called to Portugal by Presbyterian Mission International (PMI) and Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). We have three beautiful children: Rute Amelia (3), Stella Magnolia (1), and another baby on the way!
